Orb after his Kentucky Derby win
After a huge year, Stuart S. Janney III and Ogden Phipps’ homebred Orb, winner of the Fountain of Youth (G2), Florida Derby (G1) and Kentucky Derby (G1) will be retired to stud where he was raised at historic Claiborne Farm in Paris, KY. Orb joins Grade 1-winner Data Link, also owned by Janney, as the second new stallion for 2014 at Claiborne. Orb’s stud fee has been set at $25,000.
